Check email on your own domain

Why this matters

On a free hosting address, only the hosting company can add email records. There is nothing for you to fix on that address.

What to do

1. Check the part after the @ in your business email address. This is the domain your email uses.
2. If your business uses its own domain, enter that domain in the checker too. Email protection needs checking there rather than on the free hosting address.

How to check the fix

Look at the SPF and DMARC results for your own domain if it can be tested. A pass for the free hosting address says nothing about protection on your separate email domain.
