Website checks for hair and beauty

Help clients compare treatments and prices, choose an appointment and find your salon.

Put practical booking details beside treatments

Clients compare services, prices, appointment lengths and who provides them. Keep those details close to the booking link and explain how to ask a question before booking. Make your address, opening times and cancellation information easy to find without opening a photo gallery.

Try booking from a small screen

Your site may combine image galleries, treatment menus and an embedded appointment form. The viewport check looks for the setting that helps phones size the page. The mixed-content check flags insecure homepage files that browsers may block, which can affect images or embedded features. Follow the appointment flow on a phone yourself; our test does not check available slots or make bookings.

Handle bookings and deposits carefully

Booking forms may collect a name, telephone number and treatment choice, and some services take deposits online. HTTPS protects details in transit. If your site collects personal details, data-protection law applies. Follow any separate booking and payment links, confirm the intended recipient and review what information you ask for before the appointment.

Help new clients recognise your work

A clear homepage title helps clients recognise the salon. Link-preview settings give a shared link a suggested title and image. Meaningful treatment and hairstyle photographs need useful alt descriptions; the check finds missing attributes but cannot judge their wording. Choose descriptions that explain the style or result shown, and keep purely decorative images skippable.

Checks to start with

The checker reads the public homepage, its connection and public email records. Use the results alongside your own checks of the pages and features your customers rely on.
